Cheap Football Shirts
Okay, you love the game of football, and you love your team. You want to show that off and wear your team’s shirt, but you can't afford to pay the prices your football team is asking in their official shop.
So what to do?
It's a problem faced by thousands of people every day. You want a football shirt, or one of your children does, but the prices for the official team merchandise is just too much.
What not to do. Don't buy from that guy in the pub; some dodgy stall keeper; or some non-UK based online auction seller. Why?
Two reasons: one you're breaking the law if you buy cheap unlicensed football shirts; and secondly the majority of this kind of kit is being churned out by factories in third world countries with no regard for labour laws. Yes, your child needs a cheap football shirt, but does that mean you should let young children work as slaves to make it for him or her?
Harsh words there I know, but it still goes on. The basic facts are that you get what you pay for. Buying unlicensed football kits hurts people, so don't do it.
But there are ways to get cheap football kits legally, and without buying goods made by child labour.

As well as all the high end expensive stuff that the clubs sell from their shops and web site, they also licence other manufacturers to make cheaper versions for them. As well as some of the popular supermarkets, there are many online shops that while being able to legally use the latest team designs and logos, can get away offering cheaper football shirts by using ordinary materials. That combines with the savings of being an online shop means savings for you. These online shops will be able to confirm that the football shirts that they are selling have been licensed, and so are legal.

Buy second hand. That's what the online auction sites are good for. There are loads of people selling football shirts that they have grown out of, lost love for, or are just selling because they need the cash. Always check their feedback though and confirm that what they are selling is what they say it is, and not a new illegal shirt.

Retro football shirts. Whether it's last year’s strip, or form forty years ago, you can always save money by buying past season football shirts. Plus, some of those designs were much better than what your team may be wearing today. With over 150 years of football history, and all the different rules and regulations that made football shirt designs change, there are loads of great shirt designs out there to choose from. Just do a search online for retro shirts.
Good luck finding your next cheap football shirt.
